People often check Instagram or Facebook before they walk in: does the gym look friendly, are class times clear, and how do they try a session? You don't need medical lectures or miracle transformations online. You need a steady rhythm of accurate, low-risk posts that match your real floor. This guide is for Corpus Christi–area gyms, fitness studios, and martial arts schools — including Flour Bluff, Portland, TX, Padre Island, and Kingsville.
Important: Padre Post Co. is a social media service, not a personal training program, medical practice, or martial arts certification body. We do not invent credentials, promise body or performance outcomes, or give health advice. You approve every post, and we skip sensitive or outcome-claim content unless you clear specific wording. Your studio keeps final say on what can be published.
1. Keep profiles and signup paths accurate
- Google Business Profile shows the right phone, address or suite, hours, and class or drop-in notes you're allowed to publish — not an outdated lobby shot.
- Bio states who you serve and where (Southside, Flour Bluff, Portland TX, etc.) without stuffing every keyword.
- Link to the path you actually check: phone, website schedule, app, or trial form.
- Never invent reviews or offer gifts for reviews. Reply to real public feedback politely.
- Only list certifications and belt ranks your coaches actually hold — no invented titles.
2. Sample post ideas (useful and hedged)
Use only details and photos you're cleared to share. Default to culture and logistics — not body shaming, diagnoses, or guaranteed results.
- Meet the coaches (with permission): first names / roles, floor or mats photos — no member faces unless you have written consent.
- Class or open-gym schedule: clear times; “confirm on our site or app” if anything might change; holiday closures called out early.
- Trial / intro soft CTA: how to book a first visit or intro class at a high level — no “lose 20 lbs in 30 days” style promises.
- Floor culture: clean facility refresh, community event the gym sponsors (confirm dates), or a thank-you to front desk / coaches — keep it human.
- Technique or movement tip (non-medical): general form reminders (“brace your core,” “breathe”) that are not diagnoses, rehab plans, or product endorsements you can't stand behind.
- Membership / drop-in high-level: only language your studio already uses publicly; never invent prices or waitlists.
- Seasonal convenience: New Year schedule, summer youth classes, or back-to-school evening slots as a soft CTA — no guaranteed openings unless your calendar says so.
- Martial arts belt / milestone shout-outs: only with the student's or parent's OK; skip kids' faces unless cleared.
3. Privacy and claim habits (plain English)
- You approve every post on the monthly calendar before anything goes live.
- Skip sensitive content by default: medical conditions, injury details, weigh-ins, and anything that could embarrass a member.
- No before/after transformation claims or outcome guarantees unless your studio provides cleared wording and consent you say is OK.
- No fake testimonials, fake “#1 gym” rankings, or review incentives.
- No invented certifications for coaches or the business.
- If a draft feels too close to medical advice or private, we cut it — your call stands.
This is marketing process, not legal or medical advice. Ask your compliance or insurance contact if you're unsure about a specific post.
4. A schedule you can keep
- 2–4 posts a week beats a burst then silence — useful between busy class blocks.
- Batch floor/coach photos once a month; schedule captions you can approve in one sitting.
- Stories for day-of schedule changes you really have; feed posts for lasting “how to try a class” cards.
- Answer DMs carefully — never give personalized training or medical advice in public comments or DMs beyond directing them to call or book with your staff.
5. What I won't do
- No outcome claims, diagnoses, or “best gym in Corpus” ranking promises.
- No fake testimonials, fake stats, or review incentives.
- No inventing coach certifications or belt ranks.
- No posting member photos or stories without your cleared permission.
- No posting without your approval.
6. When to get help
If coaching and the front desk leave no time for captions, that's normal. Padre Post Co. writes and schedules Facebook and Instagram posts from materials you provide; you approve everything, and we skip sensitive or outcome-claim content by default. I'm local in Flour Bluff and focus on Corpus Christi and Coastal Bend studios — including Portland, TX and Corpus Christi.
Right now I'm taking on my first 3 local clients at a founding rate. See the Founding Client offer and pricing, or browse the spec sample posts to see the style.
Questions
Will you post transformation photos or guaranteed results?
No outcome guarantees, before/after weight-loss claims, or member transformation stories unless you provide cleared wording and written permission from the member. Default content stays on class culture, schedule, coach intros (with permission), and general trial or drop-in CTAs you approve.
How do you handle member photos and privacy?
You approve every post before it goes live. I skip identifiable member faces and personal stories unless you say the person consented. Kids in class photos need your cleared OK. If a draft feels too personal, we cut it—your call stands.
