Social media for Corpus Christi HVAC and plumbing companies

For owners and office managers of AC, heating, plumbing, and other home service companies who are too busy on calls to post.

Founding offer: Growth plan $250/mo (normally $350), $99 setup waived, rate locked 6 months. For my first 3 clients, in exchange for 2 introductions to other local owners and permission to show your posts in my portfolio. See the offer.

When the AC quits in August or a pipe bursts, many homeowners search fast and call whoever looks reliable and reachable. Your Google listing and Facebook page are often part of that first impression. Social media won't replace a good tech, but it can show that you're real, licensed, local, and answering the phone.

1. Get the basics right first

  • Google Business Profile: correct service area, hours, emergency availability (only if you really offer it), phone, and recent photos of your trucks and team.
  • License info: Texas has rules about showing license numbers in advertising for some trades, including AC and plumbing. Check current TDLR and Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners guidance and include your number where it's required.
  • Same info everywhere. Name, address, and phone should match on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and your website.
  • Reply to reviews kindly and briefly. Never offer discounts or gift cards in exchange for reviews; that's against Google's rules.

2. Photos that build trust

  • Show your techs (with their OK) in uniform next to the truck. Homeowners like knowing who's coming to the door.
  • Before and after: a clean new install, a tidy repipe, a cleaned-out condenser coil.
  • Protect customers' privacy. Get permission before photographing a home, and leave out house numbers, street signs, and anything personal.
  • Use your own photos. Don't use manufacturer images or other companies' jobs as if they were your work.

3. What to post

  • Simple explainers: why an AC might blow warm air, what a water heater noise can mean, when to change a filter. Keep it general and invite people to call for a real diagnosis.
  • Meet the team: each tech, years in the trade, and any certifications they actually hold.
  • Openings: "We have a couple of tune-up slots open this week" posts can help fill the schedule.
  • Clear specials: if you post a tune-up price, say exactly what's included and any limits.

4. Coastal Bend seasons

Calls tend to follow the weather. Post a week or two before the rush:

  • Spring: AC tune-up reminders before the long, humid summer.
  • Summer: tips for keeping a system running in high heat, and what to check before calling.
  • Hurricane season (June 1 – November 30): generator and flood-prep reminders, and pointers to official city and county sources for storm info rather than giving it yourself.
  • Cold snaps: freezes are less common here but can catch homes unprepared. Pipe-protection and heating check reminders are worth posting when one is forecast.
  • Salt air: homes near the water, on the Island, or in Flour Bluff may see faster corrosion on outdoor units; a rinse-and-check reminder can be useful.

5. A routine that fits a busy crew

  • Ask techs to snap one job photo a day (with permission). By Friday you'll have plenty.
  • Post three times a week: one job photo, one tip, one team or openings post.
  • Mention the areas you cover (Southside, Flour Bluff, Calallen, Portland, the Island) so locals know you're close.
  • Don't promise exact arrival times or savings you can't guarantee for every home.

6. When to get help

If your phones ring all day, posting at night isn't realistic. With Padre Post Co., your team texts me photos, I write and schedule the posts, and you approve everything before it goes live. I'm based in Flour Bluff and focus on Corpus Christi and Coastal Bend businesses.

Right now I'm taking on my first 3 local clients at a founding rate: the Growth plan for $250/mo instead of $350, locked for 6 months, with the $99 setup waived, in exchange for 2 introductions to other local owners and permission to show the work in my portfolio. See the Founding Client offer and pricing, or browse the spec sample posts to see the style.
